In a shocking and disturbing turn of events, a 45-year-old teacher, Musa Wada, has been arrested in Jigawa State for the gruesome murder of his 14-year-old Almajiri student, Bashir Adamu. The teacher, in a bid to cover his tracks, beheaded and cut off the victim's genitals, attempting to deceive the public into believing that Bashir was killed by ritualists. However, his sinister plan was foiled, and he will now face the full wrath of the law.
According to the Jigawa Police Command's spokesperson, SP Lawan Shiisu, Musa Wada was arrested on March 13, 2025, following a tip-off. During interrogation, the teacher confessed to punishing Bashir for his absenteeism from school, which ultimately led to the student's death. In an attempt to conceal his crime, Musa Wada buried the removed head and genital organs in his farmland.
The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the community, and the police have assured that the suspect will be arraigned in court upon completion of the investigation.
