A prominent figure and youth-friendly leader in Ayakoromo community has, on behalf of the community, expressed profound gratitude to the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dennis Otuaro, for his outstanding commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable development across the Niger Delta region.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Mr. Angodideke Ernest Ezon-Ebi, popularly known as Akpofe1, commended Chief Otuaro for what he described as a remarkable and unprecedented investment in human capital, particularly among the youths of Ayakoromo and the wider Niger Delta. He noted that the interventions of the PAP under Chief Otuaro’s leadership have brought renewed hope, opportunity, and direction to thousands of young people.
According to him, the programme has witnessed a significant paradigm shift since Chief Otuaro assumed office. He emphasized that only those who deliberately ignore progress would fail to acknowledge the sweeping transformations currently taking place across the region. These include continuous efforts in education through the provision of scholarships both locally and internationally with strong emphasis on quality education and capacity building, sustained vocational training programmes in areas such as welding, marine engineering, ICT, agriculture and entrepreneurship, consistent youth empowerment initiatives through financial support schemes, startup grants and business development programmes, ongoing infrastructure support through community-based projects that improve living standards, as well as peace-building and stakeholder engagement efforts that have helped maintain stability across the Niger Delta.
“These achievements are not hidden,” he stated. “They are visible, measurable, and impactful. The good works of the PAP Administrator are so evident that even the blind can hear of them, the deaf can see them, and those who doubt can feel their impact across the Niger Delta.”
Ernest Ezon-Ebi (Akpofe1) further described Chief Otuaro’s leadership as inclusive and unbiased, noting that his policies and programmes are not restricted to any tribe, ethnicity, or community, but are equitably distributed across the region. He reaffirmed that Ayakoromo community remains a direct beneficiary and a living testimony of these interventions.
“I, Ernest Ezon-Ebi (Akpofe1), stand as a witness to your good works in Ayakoromo. Your selfless sacrifices, dedication, and commitment have not gone unnoticed. You have lifted burdens off the shoulders of many parents in the creeks by giving their children access to quality education and meaningful opportunities,” he said.
Quoting the late Nelson Mandela, he added:
“The best legacy you can give to a child is education.”
He, however, emphasized that Chief Otuaro has gone beyond this ideal by not only providing education but ensuring it is of high quality and transformative in nature.

Ernest Ezon-Ebi (Akpofe1) issued a strong caution against deliberate attempts to undermine progress through blackmail and baseless attacks. He warned that such antagonists, whom he accused of engaging in “pull-him-down (PhD) syndrome,” must desist from actions capable of derailing the gains already recorded.
“We are fully aware of their antecedents,” he said. “These are individuals who do not wish to see the Niger Delta succeed or evolve into the Eldorado and Uhuru society that the youths have long dreamed of. Their actions are driven by selfish interests and not the collective good of the region.”
He stressed that losing a personality like Chief Dennis Otuaro would be a great setback to the Niger Delta, noting that men of integrity, compassion, and vision such as him are rare and invaluable.
“Chief Dennis Otuaro is a treasure to the Niger Delta. Losing such a person would set the region back for generations, as individuals with his sincerity, commitment, and leadership qualities are not easily found. People like him are born perhaps once in a thousand years,” he asserted.
Ernest Ezon-Ebi (Akpofe1) therefore called on all stakeholders, youths, leaders, and well-meaning Nigerians to continue to support the administration of Chief Dennis Otuaro in order to sustain the progress and unity currently being experienced across the region. He emphasized that collective support and cooperation will further strengthen the achievements of the PAP and ensure that the Niger Delta continues on the path of peace, development, and shared prosperity.
Ernest Ezon-Ebi (Akpofe1) reaffirmed the community’s unwavering appreciation and loyalty, assuring Chief Otuaro that his good works will always be acknowledged and never taken for granted.
“You are a great blessing to our region, our state, our local government, and our communities. We urge you to remain steadfast and continue on this path of excellence. Ayakoromo Federated Community stands firmly with you,” he concluded.
