PDP BURUTU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAPTER MOURNS ELDER STATESMAN CHIEF EDWIN CLARK, SYMPATHIZES WITH IJAW NATION AND FAMILY

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government Chapter has expressed profound sorrow over the sudden passing of the Foremost Niger Delta and Elder Statesman, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.

In a statement signed by the party's Publicity Secretary, Enekorogha Godbless, and sent to the Nigeria Daily Chronicles publishing Head office in Warri, Delta State, the PDP described Clark as a fearless father, leader, and pillar of the party.

According to the statement, the party, led by Chief Tam G. Odogwu PhD, mourns and announces the sudden passing of Clark, who was more than a leader; he was a pillar of the PDP in Burutu Local Government and Nigeria at large.



It is with profound sorrow that we, the Peoples Democratic Party in Burutu Local Government Chapter, led by Chief Tam G. Odogwu PhD, Mourns and announce the sudden passing of our beloved fearless father, leader, and pillar of the party, Chief Edwin Clark.


The late Elder Statesman was more than a leader; he was a pillar of the Peoples Democratic Party in Burutu Local Government and Nigeria at large. His immense contributions to the Peoples Democratic Party, the Ijaw Nation, and Nigeria cannot be sufficiently stated.


Papa just left but his departure has already left an unfillable void and vacuum in our party. With deep sorrow and sympathy, we wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Ijaw Nation, his children, Ngbilebiri Kingdom, and the entire PDP family in Burutu Local Government over this irreplaceable and colossal loss.


We mourn the sudden passing of our beloved leader and father, whose demise has left an irreparable gap in our party and among his loved ones. This colossal loss has occurred at a time when we his party needed him the most.


In this moment of grief, we stand in solidarity with his children and family. We earnestly pray that God grants his family, the Ijaw Nation, and the entire PDP family the courage and fortitude to bear this great loss.


May the cherished memories of our beloved father and leader, late Chief Edwin K. Clark, bring comfort and solace to us all.


Papa hasn't gone; Papa lives on. Adieu our rock; farewell, our leader.
