Ekanpou Enewaridideke, a renowned storyteller and writer, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who celebrated him on his birthday.
In a statement released on his official WhatsApp handle, Ekanpou said, "I am very fortunate to be in this world where I can identify those who celebrate storytellers... Those who always create remembered spaces for the storyteller live forever in my archive, chronicled as great thought-sharers on my birthday."
He particularly appreciated those who celebrated him as a writer, saying, "The most memorable thought-sharers are those who celebrate the writer as a writer, not the writer as a commissioner or deputy governor."
Ekanpou promised to reciprocate the kindness shown to him, stating, "To all those who celebrated me on my birthday, I remain thankful with hidden words - hidden words that will be released appreciatively someday... all the thought-sharers shall be remembered and recognised because they are the true storytellers who tell my true stories without being influenced or bribed."
