Sen. Comr. Nerissa E. Pukon and NAOS President
The National Association of Odimodi Students Worldwide (NAOS), under the leadership of its National President, Comrade Bekebebedougha Eric Ogokeme, has extended its warmest and most heartfelt birthday felicitations to Senior Comrade Nerissa E. Pukon, a former Vice President of the association and the current Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Western Zone Woman Leader.
In a statement issued to Nigeria Daily Chronicles, Comrade Ogokeme praised Senior Comrade Nerissa E. Pukon for her unwavering commitment, exceptional leadership, and consistent advocacy for the rights and empowerment of the girl child across the nooks and crannies of the creeks. According to the NAOS President, her influence and sacrifices have left an indelible mark not only on the association but also on the larger Odimodi community.
“Senior Comrade Nerissa E. Pukon has been a strong pillar and a fearless voice for the girl child in the creeks,” Ogokeme stated. “Her love, commitment, and tireless contributions toward the growth and betterment of the National Association of Odimodi Students are beyond what words can adequately describe or capture. She is more than just a supporter—she is a force of nature.”
Describing her as a woman of rare capacity, Ogokeme emphasized that her dedication to community service surpasses that of many, including men. “Her contributions in the Odimodi community go beyond what even some men have been able to accomplish. She is a woman whose strength, wisdom, and courage are equivalent to fifty men,” he said.
The NAOS President went further to say that if the association had just five more individuals like Senior Comrade Nerissa E. Pukon, the progress and impact of NAOS would be beyond imagination. “She has sacrificed so much for this association, often putting the welfare and future of NAOS before her own personal comfort. If we had even five of her kind actively supporting the association, NAOS would be on a global pedestal of recognition and impact,” he remarked.
As she marks another year of grace, strength, and purpose, the leadership and entire membership of the National Association of Odimodi Students Worldwide are united in their prayer that God grants her the desires of her heart and causes her aspirations to come to full fruition.
The association celebrates her not just for her birthday but for her invaluable legacy, her selfless service, and her unshakable belief in youth empowerment and community development. Senior Comrade Nerissa E. Pukon remains a living example of what true leadership and service to humanity represent.
